Your First Fundraising Steps

Image
Follow these first steps to set up your campaign and begin fundraising: Create your page.  Your Crowdrise account is your fundraising base where you’ll customize your homepage, share your story, send emails, and access fundraising tools. See more information here about how to set up and access your Crowdrise account. Raise the bar. We recommend setting your goal above the $500 minimum (how does $1,000 sound?). It’s probably easier to exceed the minimum than you expect! And there are some great reasons to do so: you'll be helping more people and potentially getting some sweet swag in the process . Make your first ask!   Post on social media, email your BFF, call your mom—tell the world what you’re trying to accomplish. People will be blown away by what you’re about to do, and want to support you. We've even made some social media images ready for you to use right away.   And also see other tips about asking others for donations from a star fundraiser.
